TPS65982DMC: Soft start function enable

Dear expert,

According to TPS65982DMC's datasheet, the soft start is enable by application.

We want to know how to enable soft start function by application because I didn't see this function on GUI tool.
Is there any document is talking about this? Does hardware design also need to be modified?

About soft start, I only saw it on PD controller setting, not DMC.
Is it only setup on PD side but DMC?

Hi Oden,

I reached out to another engineer about this.

For the TPS65982DMC, soft start is always enabled. We do not provide an option for disabling it in the GUI.

The slew rate can be tuned with the CSS capacitor.
