TPS659128: Default OTP

Hi Team,

A customer is asking for the default OTP settings of TPS659128x PMIC? This was not included in the datasheet.

The customer is looking for a PMIC with specific OTP settings to avoid the need of I2C-based configuration during booting up. What is the best way to go about custom programming of OTP in such case?

Please allow me to take a some time (no more than 2 days) to collect all released or pre-release variants for your selection from as many as possible options.

Besides of RTMed variants on TI website: TPS659121YFFR; TPS659122YFFR and TPS659127YFFR; we have some customized OTP variants may be available for samples. Attached is the Excel file I just made for your selection. Please let me know if you find a variant can be used for the customer.

Thank you for this. Can TI do the factory programming of the OTP? is there a minimum QTY required for this? Can TI's distributor (like digikey) do this?

Hi Marvin,

Yes; TI does the factory programming of the OTP. As I know, the device can't be programmed by any distributor.

New OTP kickoff requires $2.5M LNR in revenue. With $1.74 AUP, it will be minimum ~1.4Mu required in lifetime.
