UCC12040: About ISO11452

Part Number: UCC12040
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1640

Hi,

Please help to ask whether the two ICs ISO1640(-Q1), and UCC12040(-Q1) can meet the test items of ISO11452. thanks

  • Hello Rock,

The UCC12040-Q1 is currently rated for the CISPR32, IEC 60950-1, IEC 62368-1 and IEC 60601-1 standards as per the datasheet. I do not know if we the device can meet ISO 11452 standards but I can get back to you on that. We will be on holiday this week for Thanksgiving so please be patient as our response may be delayed.

    Regards,

  • Hello Rock,

The ISO11452 is not a component level test and is typically done by the OEM. TI only provides electromagnetic (EM) testing on the component level, such as CISPR25, and can indicate EM emissions, not immunity.

May I ask what your end equipment is? Our UCC12040-Q is rated for automotive standards so it can work in a variety of applications.

Regarding the ISO1640, please repost a new E2E question with that device so we can point you to the right expert.

    Regards,
