LM2593HV: LM2593HVSX-5.0 not getting 5V in Vout

Hi Team,

Good day!

The problem is we do not get the 5V voltage in the output of the regulator. So my question is:

Is there a problem with our interpretation of the schematic or is there a problem with the spice model?

Our customer have downloaded the spice model of "LM2593HVSX-5.0" and applied the typical schematic recommanded in the datasheet with the exact values of external components. However, they can not get the 5V output.

I also applied it on the Power Designer (ti.com) and no design available.Looking forward to hear from you and thank you in advance for your support!

This device can support 5Vout.

Can you provide additional items for me to review the problem statement?

I don't see any attachments tied to this post.

Hi Marshall,

We opted to use his regulator in order to get a stable 5V output that can supply up to 2A of current.

Hence, I've used the spice model (unencrypted) provided by TI and applied the simulation (schematic taken from the datasheet/ simulation with LtSpice), but I do not get a 5V output (I get a noisy voltage of an average of 1.2V).

Is the problem with my simulation? the spice model? or the regulator itself?

Thanks for the additional information.

Try this directory out on your end.

I downloaded the encrypted startup schematic on the product folder, plopped in the unencrypted lib, and generated a new simulation profile with it set for 5Vout.

I would advise adapting to your particular need.
