Dear TI,

What to do about the NC pins in TPS7B8150QDGNRQ1? My customer requires hard proof / official guidelines what must be done. To be precise there is a DNC pin in EVM not NC.

For DNC there is info that it could be connected to GND and for NC there is not.

Hi Daniel,

The NC pins are not internally connected, so you could connect these to GND to improve thermals of the package. DNC pins should never be connected to a bias voltage, which is why these are specified on the datasheet.

The customer could choose to either leave NC pins floating or to tie them to GND; either one of these two options should be fine for this LDO.
