Ideal diode rectifier for generator circuit to supply e-bike battery management

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00858, LM5177, LM5177EVM-HP

Hello!

I am searching for some component suggestions to fulfill the following tasks: I have an electric generator that can produce from 5V - 30V DC (but the direction can switch). This generator shall supply a loading circuit for a 42V e-bike battery pack (Li-Ion). I thought that it would be usefull to have a bridge rectifier first, to allways get a rectified voltage to SMPS-chip that would then create the 42V (max. 2A) to load the battery pack.

For the rectifier solution I thought maybe TIDA-00858 migt be a good solution but for the PMM chips I have not yet searched.
It would be perfect if there would exist a buy-ready evaluation board or several boards to test the complete setup prior to design a PCB.

I hope someone can give me some suggestions for the components. Thanks!

kind regards

Benjamin
