I hav ea question about thermal pad of TPS7A8101.
Its thermal got nose sticking out in this SON (8) package.
The datasheet shows an example land pattern and it's better following this example pattern.
My question is what if a standard SON (8) is used, which has no nose for the thermal pad as Figure 33 layout example on the datasheet.
In the other word, were the nose for heat relief or some else too. Thank you.
