I fear that in the two examples provided in the documentation the formula to calculate Ron is wrong: Vin should be used in place of Vo. Is my assumption correct?

I've double checked the formula, and this should be right. Pls see my derivation below:
first of all, based on buck topology, the output voltage should be Vo=Vin* D=Vin*ton/Tsw=Vin*ton*fsw.
based on Equation 1, ton=1.34*10^-10*Ron/Vin, we substitute this into formula above and rearrange to get Ron=Vo/(1.34*10^-10*fsw).
