TPS54331: Delay time

Part Number: TPS54331

Hi Experts,

Can the upper and lower voltage divider resistors of the EN pin of the TPS54331 adjust the delay time of EN?
When the EN pin voltage exceeds 1.25 V, an additional 3 μA of hysteresis is added. This is written on the product specification
Our customer test EN power down time will have a delay of 600us.

Can you help explain it from a principled point of view?

Best regards,

Gerald

  • Hi Gerald

Would you please do me a favor to do more test here and catch some waveform?

    1. The hysteresis 3uA is used to calculate the EN hysteresis not for the delay.

    2. Help catch the En power down waveform: EN voltage, Vin voltage, Vout voltage and PH voltage when EN uses resistor divided from Vin..

    3. Help catch the EN power down waveform when EN is floating.

    4. Would you please send me the schematic?

    Hope this helps.
