BQ24770: Error of Charge Current

Hello E2E,

Please let me know about the error of Charge current. The datasheet of the device has min and max value for it.
I want to know min/max value when setted to 320mA(0x0140H) for Charge current.
Does TI have formulas and measurement data for them?

    Hello ACGuy,

    The accuracy is guaranteed and characterized at the points that are listed in the datasheet. If you look at the Pre-Charge accuracy it is spec'd for 384mA as +/-15% and for 192mA it is +/-20%. Therefore the accuracy for 320mA should be between +/-15% and +/-20%. I would expect it to be in the range of 18% based on the rest of the specs.

    Can I ask more one?
    About "Charge Current monitor accuracy", please let me know min/max % when V(srn-srp) is between 3mV to 4mV. It's non-guaranteed ok, assumed value ok.

    I don't have any characterization data on this to reference but based on other specs I would expect in the 20-25% accuracy range.
