The device datasheet doesn't describe the T&R dimensions, placement direction, etc.
Could we confirm this information please?
I'm looking for this level of detail:

Hello Darren,
Thanks for the inquiry. Please see link below for the CSD88537NDT (T = small reel, 250pcs.). The carrier tape should be the same as the large reel (2500 pcs.). Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Best Regards,

Hi John,
I found this document. Can you confirm if it is accurate?
https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/snoa403i/snoa403i.pdf
Can you confirm these differences?
1) SPQ
CSD88537NDT: 250
CSD88537ND: 2,500
2) Tape
= Same Dimensions
3) Reel Diameter
CSD88537NDT = 7inch (178mm)
CSD88537ND = 13inch (330mm)
4) Reel Width
CSD88537NDT = 12.4mm(W1) / 18mm(W2)
CSD88537ND = 12mm(W1) / 18.4mm(W2)
I am particularly concerned about the Reel Width values.
The tape width is 12mm, so with W1 down to 12mm there will be a lot of friction...
Any chance you could confirm?
Regards,
Darren
Hi Darren,
Our product engineer is looking into this. I'll get back to you as soon as I have more information.
Thanks,
John
Hi Darren,
Apologies for the delay. I hope to have an answer for you today.
Thanks,
John
Hi Darren,
I took another look at the document and I'm not sure what the concern is. The tape is 12mm (W1) and reel width is 18/18.4mm. It seems like this is adequate clearance between tape and reel and there should not be any friction. Let me know if this resolves your issue.
Thanks,
John
Hi John,
For CSD88537ND, the Tape Width = 12mm but the inner-width or the reel flanges is 12.4mm; so there is some wiggle room for the tape.
https://www.ti.com/packaging/docs/carriermaterial/carrierlookup?OPN=CSD88537NDT&state=details#results *see W(mm) vs W1(mm)
The 18mm number is for the entire reel's width from external flange edges; not the width of the cavity where the tape goes.
For CSD88537NDT the Tape Width = 12mm too; but it looks like the reel width is either 12mm or 12.8mm according to data on the "atss/" internal page.
I am looking for confirmation on the reel width between the two flanges.
Hi Darren,
I may have misinterpreted the drawing. Below is the feedback I received from manufacturing.The pictures with the drawings are small. I can forward them to you in an email.
Thanks,
John
Please see below requested dimensions based on DWG.
The width of carrier tape is smaller than the nominal value of both 7 inch and 13 inch reel width.
