LM2767: Schottky diode change concern for PD EPR schematic

Hi Team,

Due to my customer would like to change Schottky diode PN from MBR0520LT1G to SS0520, is there any concern?

Hello Hardy,

I cannot find the reverse current on the diode over temperature. As this can change heavily over temperature, this would be my only concern.

Hello Hardy,

You are right, I overlooked this picture. It seems that the reverse current of the second diode is 10 times as high as the one from the first one. I would recommend to test the circuit at high temperature and check if the input current settles at a value that is ok for the customer. I expect reduced efficiency due to this reverse current.
