UCC3895: USING EXTERNAL OSCILLATOR FOR SYNC INPUT

Hello

for a new design I'd like to drive the SYNC pin of UCC 2895 with an external clock signal. Reading the data sheet I don't understand what I have to do with pins Rt and Ct.

Can someone give me some help, please?

Hello,

If the UCC2895 is in slave mode. You should program the Rt and Ct so the sync frequency is 80% of the sync frequency. Even when you are synchronizing the UCC2895 as a slave it needs to have Ct and Rt populated.
