Hi 

The customer design the schematic with BQ24610 for 4 series battery. during charge they plug in and out the battery, BQ24610, HIDRV MOS, LODRV MOS damage.

Attached the schematic for your reference.

Hot plug the battery why the BQ24610, HIDRV MOS, LODRV MOS will damage?

    Hi Star,

    It is likely the damage is caused by the inrush current and voltage spike when performing the hot plug.

    Can you provide a capture of VBAT1 and PH (on the same capture) when battery is plugged in?

    It seems like your customer is not using the /BATDRV and there is no system load based on the schematic, is that correct?
