TPS7H2201-SP: About the difference of EVM and /EM part.

Hi expert,

My customer have some doubts about the difference beteween /EM part and EVM.

They bought the EVM for evaluation of component performance and intend to do the electrical test with /EM part, but they also notice /EM part is include in EVM.

It is interesting that the EVM is much cheaper than /EM part on the TI store.

So it seems a good choice or not for customer that buy the EVM board for /EM part?  Or are there something difference we do not know?

    Hi, 

    Yes, the EVM includes an /EM part. The price of the board is adjusted to help make evaluation of the part more financially accessible to customers. 

    If the customer only needs a few /EM units for evaluation, then their EVM order can cover this. However, if they need more than a few /EM parts, they will need to order those parts in addition to the EVMs.
