TPS62840: Output greater than 3.3V

Part Number: TPS62840

We are using the TPS62840DLC on a design and because it meets the requirements and the space constraints. There may be are reason we want to up the output voltage slightly above 3.3V.

Is there undocumented resistors that would allow a higher voltage than 3.3V? Switching to the TPS62842DGR is not really and option.

Is there going to be TPS62842DLC? so that it can be in the same package size?

  • Hi Ross,

There are no undocumented resistors to give you a higher voltage on the TPS62840DLC. What is the max VOUT you would need for your applicaton?

The TPS62849DLC operates at 3.4V fixed VOUT. Is a BGA package acceptable? You could then consider the TPS628438 which can go to 3.6V max. RTM for this device is only mid 2023.

    Best regards,

    Varun
