UCC27210: Minimum voltage for LI and HI inputs

Part Number: UCC27210
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC27211

I'm using a 5.0V microprocessor and the driver is working intermittently.  The datasheet indicates that the input voltage threshold is min 4.2 and max of 5.8.  So, does the design need to be over 5.8V to make sure it always works?  I'm thinking that I need to use the TTL part UCC27211.

Thanks,

Joe.
