Hi
I can't connect to UCD9081 using I2C interface. After I open the GUI, it shows that the EVM BOARD cannot be found.
Is there a problem with my USB-TO-GPIO2 tool or driver?

Hi
USB-TO-GPIO2 dongle has not been verified on the UCD9081.
But there are couple things to check:
1. USB-TO-GPIO 2 need set to 100KHz
2. PEC feature shall be disabled on the USB-TO-GPIO 2 dongle
3. I recalled USB-TO-GPIO2 dongle default's pull-up is not configured, you may need configure it to 1K。
It is us holiday, team will test this after new year.

Can you help with testing with USB TO GPIO2(2022) and UCD9081?
Thanks
Hi, Lai,
UCD9081 GUI has not yet support USB-To-GPIO2 (2022) adapter => you will need to use USB-to-GPIO (2006).
Fusion Digital Power Designer does not support UCD8081 and v7.7.1 does not support USB-To-GPIO2. If you want to use USB-To-GPIO2 dongle for low level debug tools (SMBus/I2C/SAA Tool), then you will need to use TI-Fusion-Digital-Power-Designer-7.8.3.zip.

Hi
How can I use USB TO GPIO2 control UCD9081?Only SMBus/I2C/SAA Tool can be used from TI-Fusion-Digital-Power-Designer-7.8.3.zip..
is there no UCD9081 GUI interface to fully operate ?
Thanks
Hi, Lai,
UCD9081 GUI does not support USB-to-GPIO2 (2022) adapter yet. We will discuss with team to see if we will support USB-to-GPIO2 in UCD9081 GUI and when.
