Hi expert,

My csutomer ask to provide below items "per lot" shipping to them.

a. Failure Rate or MTBF

b. TID report

c. SEE report

d. PIND report

e. Metal whisker report

1. As I know, the MTBF can be found in "Quality, reliability & packaging data" report, and TID & SEE report can be found on part number page.

Are these report can be provided by "per lot" either?

2. I know TI will do the process is considered "Whisker free" per JEDEC/IPC JP002 per products.

Is there a report can be provided to proof that?

3. In summary, could you give me some pointers on how to find the above information?

Are these items could be find on (QCI) https://qci.ext.ti.com/ ?

Hi,

1. TID reports are performed for each lot and are provided with each order shipment. As you correctly guessed, TID reports are also located in QCI (https://qci.ext.ti.com/). We do not provide SEE reports "per lot", so the SEE characterization report on the product page should be used.

2. TI mitigates tin whiskers by not using pure tin in part construction for Space-grade devices. The material content for orderable part options are available on the product page (shown below). In many cases, there may be no tin in the material content for a space-grade part.

One more question, will date code/lot code & MTBF are provided with each order shipment? Are they also located in QCI?

Hi Ryan,

Yes, the date/lot codes are also provided with each shipment. The documentation that comes with each shipment lists these identifiers and other information at the top of the page. This App Note shows examples of what these documents look like as well as how to access them in QCI: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sboa143b/sboa143b.pdf

Information on MTBF can be found in the same location as the material content - the screenshot from my previous reply will show you how to find this page.
