Dear Sir or Madam,
I designed USBC DP solution with TUSB564 and TUSB320 as below.
TUSB564 set GPIO mode and TUSB320 set I2C mode. TUSB320 is only for checking cable direction and send the status to Scaler. Then Scaler control FLIP(H/L switching) through I2C value from the TUSB320.
The Monitor does not use USB function so to set 4 lane DP signals on TUSB564 switching CTL0 L -> H -> L sequence by referring spec sheet.
DP signals of the TUSB564 go to DP rx chip and it exchange the DP signals to HDMI signals then supply HDMI tx to Scaler.
Unfortunately, there is no signal(TX1,2 +/- and RX1,2 +/- and SBU1, SBU2) from PC. When I insert USBC cable, VBUS(+5V) and CC1, CC2 are detected. I thought, both equipment have to exchange EDiD information through SBU1 and SBU2, but nothing detected on SBU1 and SBU2.
Have to do something to let the PC know the Monitor connected?
Or is there any process?
