LM4132: No connect pin 1

Pin 1 of the LM4132 is labeled 'no connect pin'. Is it a problem if I connect the pin to FND?

It is recommended to leave the pin floating.

Is that because it's connected internally? I would like to connect pin 1 to GND so that the land pattern would be compatible with an alternate part.

Hi Mike

I'd suggest to use REF4132. You can connect pin 1 to GND. It is pin compatible with LM4132 and it is our new gen part and will have better supply in future.
