PFA, One of my load device is asking for the below requirement.

But normal power consumption will be 78mA only. How to take care about this while designing a switcher.

Hi Anusha,

I'm confused about the question.

Is that a process here that our TPS568215 power on/reset, or our load power on/reset but the regulator remains online?

Do you mean the load current is a pulse changing between 250mA and 78mA?

What're the circuit parameters like the range of output voltage?

If our TPS568215 remains power on during the time pulses, I don't think there would be any risk since the load transient is only 250mA max and the output voltage can support the transient. So just design the regulator as normal.

Im asking in general.. For any load asking for 250mA for initial 500us , after 500us it consumes 78mA only.

How to take care about this requirement..

Hi Anusha,

Then I think a normal design is sufficient for this application without a special design or taking care.
