Hello guys,

One of my customers is trying to simulate TPS54160 load transient using TINA-TI.
The attached file is their schematic. But TINA-TI transient simulation didn't run with this file.

Could you please tell me the reason why TINA-TI didn't run?

Hello,

I tried running their simulation file but it is stalling. I am not sure why.

However, I downloaded the TINA reference design file provided in the product page:

https://www.ti.com/product/TPS54160#design-tools-simulation

and that ran without any issues. The example is set up such that the circuit goes through normal startup first (with shorter SS time) and the output settles to steady state. Then transients can be applied.

I would recommend asking the customer to start with the default file in the link above and modify the working design to their needs. Alternatively they can use PSPICE for TI.
