TPS3710: RP Value

Part Number: TPS3710

Hi Team,

Can you confirm if the value calculated for RP is correct?

VPU - 3.3V
Detection voltage - 3.3V (sense pin)
OUT is connected to Hi-Z (FPGA input)

OUT (Output sink current) - 40mA
=> RP =10 kohm (33uA)

Additional questions:

What is the parameters for VHI? What is the device standard value.
Also, what is the parameters of the IO?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Marvin

  • Hi Marvin

     You can derive VOH spec of the device from VIH of FPGA.

    VIH will decide the upper limit on RPU.

    (VPU - VIH_FPGA)/ ILKG(od)  >= RPU

    VOL (250mV) of the device is defined at IOL (for given VDD) {it should be less than VIL of FPGA}

    This will decide the lower limit pf RPU

    RPU > ( VPU - VOL )/ IOL
