TLV61070A: Would like to minimize output capacitance value

Hi team,

My customer has been considering TLV61070A for their product, however the output current is much higer than their usage. They think they can minimize the capacitance of output capacitor.

Could you please teach me the recommended capacitance value for the customer's usage? The customer's output current is mA class.

Hi Shunsuke ,

The effective capacitor range we recommend is like below, please be noted that this is effective value considering DC bias loss.

For example, if customer use only 1*22uF output cap (GRM187R61A226ME15D), the effective value is about 5.5uF.

So I think 1*22uF output cap is also fine for customer's application.

Are there any solutions without 22uF? such as 4uF

Hi Shunsuke,

As long as the effective value of output cap is large than 4uF, it will be fine for application.
