Hi,

We are interfacing Battery monitoring IC BQ76pl455-Q1 and BQ79600-Q1 in a daisy-chain communication with different rated CMCs on both ends (BQ76pl455-Q1 has ACT45B-101-2P-TL003  and BQ79600-Q1 has HMU1228NL), is it possible to establish communication with the below Parts?

    Hi Mohammed,

    No the bq79600 is only for the 61x family. You would need to swap to 61x instead of 455 to use this device. As for 455, you can use the bottom most 455 device to communicate daisy chain and UART and still be connected to the battery module. If you want to use 455 you can use an additional 455 as a communication bridge if you want. If so, then please properly connect TOP and NPNB as per example bridge schematic here: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slua785/slua785.pdf
