Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the usage of a NTC with the BQ25792/BQ25798.

I don't need to use the NTC with the divider resistor on the input TS of BQ25792/BQ25798. I saw I need to configure the register TS_IGNORE = 1 but I am wondering if I can let this pin TS floating without any components? Or should I add at least a pull-down?

Hi Philémon,

If TS feature not used, use equations to set V(TS) to ~60% of VREF to hardware disable or I2C bit to software disable.

So it means that I have to keep the hardware components. I would like to avoid that in order to save some PCB space. Do you know if I can let it floating? Or maybe just connected with a pull-down?

You can just software disable it and leave it floating.
