We use approx. 40,000 of these chips P.A. We have some of these devices entering a fault condition (usually by the timer running out after 30M of pre-charge when a poor battery is connected or fails). We need to find a way to "reset" this fault timer. The data sheet suggests that "A POR, TE, or CE toggle clears the fault." However I have the EVK, I can get the timer to flag up the fault condition, but toggling the TE pin does NOT clear the fault and/or reset the fault timer. Have I misunderstood the data sheet ? Is there a way of resetting the fault timer without a power down ?TIA.
