Hi ,

Can UC 2843 used for below application ?Is it right choice if not please suggest suitable alternate .

Fly back isolated converter

Input DC =25V ~ 100V

Output DC = 14V /10A .

Ambient temp max = 60 Deg C

Please advice

Vikas,

140W with 10A output current might be asking a bit much for a fixed frequency flyback, especially if full power is required at minimum input voltage? You can use TI power stage designer to check the peak currents and power stage design yourself but also check and compare to the active clamp forward converter.

You can also check the TI reference design library here. I filtered to search for UCC2897A reference designs. UCC2897A is an active clamp forward PWM controller well suited for your electrical specs.
