TPS628501-Q1: the internal resistor precision of the fixed voltage version TPS628501-Q1

Part Number: TPS628501-Q1

Hello team,

My customer are comparing the fixed voltage version of TPS628501-Q1 to the adjustable version of the one.

In terms of the voltage precision, which is better if adjustable version use 1% resistors for feedback pin?

and they also want to know the specification of the internal resistor of the fixed voltage version TPS628501-Q1.

Do your team have the data of min/typ/max internal resistor tolerance and Temperate Coefficient as well?

Thanks,

Shoo

  • Hi Shoo,

    Thanks for your question.

The device regulates the voltage on the FB pin with a 1% accuracy.

Since for a fixed VOUT version VFB is directly connected to VOUT, we have a total accuracy of 1%.

Instead for the adjustable version we also have to consider the contribution of external resistors and parasitics.

In general, the fixed VOUT versions are recommended for a better accuracy.

    Thanks,

    Stefano
