BQ34Z100-G1: bqstudio conficts with ftdi devices

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, EV2400

The EV2300 and EV2400 interface boxes may not use an FTDI chip but there is a piece of software loading at start of day in bqStudio labeled   com.ti.ftdi

We have other test equipment for our battery work, build with FTDI chips.

Unfortunately the FTDI code loading by bqstudio trashes our test equipment. We do not think EV2300 or EV2400 have FTDI parts so the need for this software load is unclear.

This is precluding us from using our test equipment with the bqStudio software and hardware in collecting data to be submitted for a new ChemID.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this issue simpler than running our equipment on a separate computer? Is this conflict something TI is willing or able to address?
