I wanted to establish an I2C communication between PMIC(TPS6594-Q1) on TPS65941212EVM board and host PC using I/O USB Interface Adapter.
I have connected 6th pin of USB Adapter to ground of EVM
9th pin of USB Adapter to SCL1/SCK of EVM
10th pin of USB Adapter to SDA1/SDI of EVM
Rest pins are left unattended in USB adapter
Could you elaborate on establishing an I2C communication interface

Yes, I have established an I2C communication using USB2.0 cable and the EVM.But now i want to establish a standalone I2C communication with the PMIC without any support from AEVM controller present on board but only with the help of USB Interface adapter dongle by TI.Is it possible ? As a next step in the design of my customized board i need to load the .bin file later in the standalone PMIC externally where i make use of this dongle. Can u please elaborate on how could i possibly do that?
