BQ78350-R1: bq78350-R1 availability

Hi Paul,

BQ78350-R1 is currently not recommended for new design and availability will be weak due to the release of BQ78350-R1A. BQ78350-R1A, BQ769003 and BQ76200 should have no problems with availability. However I would recommend switching to the BQ34z100-R2 and BQ76952 battery gauge and monitor combo as this is a more modern solution and has a significant performance increase over the BQ78350-R1A due to the Impedance Track Algorithm that the BQ34z100-R2 runs.

Kipp, thanks for reply.  Possible to email me directly so we can have some more detailed communications.  What EVMs do you suggest ordering for development support?

Kipp, I see that the bq7695202 has no stock, as does the bq34z100PWR-R2 has no stock.  I need to know these are available and can get near term before I commit.

The TI.com inventory shows stock for both devices on my end, however this does not represent accurate availability, I will switch to email as requested and give further details.
