LM5067: lm5067 Fault detection current spec

Part Number: LM5067

hi  expert,

lm5067 datasheet shows Fault detection current range is [140, 44] uA.

while another picture shows Fault detection current has little influence by temperature.

so above [140,44]uA range is mainly influence by design or chip to chip difference? thanks very much.

  • add another question.

currently, in t2 stage, we find if timer pin voltage around 3.7v(no exceed 4v), lm5067 gate pin voltage can't enable mosfet.

and then we replace it by another lm5067 chip, pin voltage around 2v, and gate pin can enable mosfet. so different chip seems has different timer pin voltage in t2 stage.

  • Hi Jung,

    Thanks for reaching out.

This limit considers the process variations from device to device over the junction temperature (TJ ) range of -40°C to +125°C.

The timer pin voltage can differ based on this variation in "ITIMER Fault detection current".
