Hi, if you would choose Css for soft start time calculations, just follow formula 2 in page 11. The time used for internal Iss charge Css to Vref is soft start time.

Relates to rated voltage in Css selection.

Hi Tomohisa

You can see the 7.2 functional block, actually, there is a 5uA internal current source(Iss) to charge the external Css cap, soft start ends after charging to 0.6V. The 0.6V is the Vref voltage and the soft start end point, not the max ss voltage. The Css calculation is based on Iss and Tss and don't need SS voltage.
