TPS735‘s datasheet shows that the VEN min threshold is 1.2V, but the threshold I measured is about 0.8V, why？

Hello,

The correct interpretation of the VEN(HI) spec is that if VEN > 1.2V, every device will be on. This does not mean that the exact threshold for every device is 1.2V; some devices will turn on at VEN = 0.8V, some at VEN = 0.9V, etc., but every device is guaranteed to be on when VEN > 1.2V.

Thank your explaining, my previous interpretation is that 1.2V is the minimum enable voltage.

Can I get the minimum threshold of VEN(HI) for every device in datasheet? 0.4V?

Hello,

I guess you could use 0.4V if you needed some sort of value to use, but it is very unlikely that any device will turn on at 0.4V. I don't think we characterize the minimum threshold. For most customers it is enough to know at what voltage they need to have EN above for the device to be on, and at what voltage they need to have EN below for the device to be off.
