BQ28Z610-R1: Can't unseal BQ28z610-R1 with our unseal keys

Hello , I have a problem about unsealing the BQ28z610-R1.

I entered our keys to the BQ with 0x 3500 Command, and now i can only use BQ Studio to unseal and unseal full access the chip with our keys.

I spied the frames sent from BQ Studio and our code:

This is the first word sent to the bq :

This is the one sent with our code :

Second words are also identical and the interval time between first and second word is 31.37 ms for BQ Studio and 30.38 ms for our code.

As you can see, they are indistinguishable, have you got a clue why it's not working with our code?

Could you let me know the frames the frames I have to send to the BQ to unseal and unseal full access ?

Hello Vincent,

If it works with bqStudio, then it should work when the unseal keys are sent the same way.

We recommend that you don't use the same word for LSB and MSB. Also don't use the same key for unseal and full access.

You can try increasing the delay to around 100ms.

Also verify that the communication speed is within 100KHz.

2nd word is not the same than the LSB one, i mean that MSB sent by BQStudio and our code are identical too

I have still the same results, can't unseal the BQ, even with 50, 70,100 and 150 ms

Hello Vincent,

It should be in unsealed state if the data was sent correctly.

Note that if the gauge loses power then it will go back to sealed state. There may be something happening after sending the commands that makes the gauge go back to sealed state
