Hello team,

Can you check information regarding the below questions?

1. Thermal Shutdown condition on datasheet: Do we have rough min/max value?

2. Behavior during Thermal Shutdown: What behavior can we use to determine thermal shutdown behavior?

3. Thermal Shutdown hysteresis: Does the thermal shutdown completely shut down until the temperature has dropped by 15C? Or does TPS61170 operate for a moment on a cycle-by-cycle, like over-current protection?

    Hi Shotaro,

    Here are the comments regarding the three questions:

    1. I need to check and give you the feedback tomorrow.
    2. A typical behavior after thermal shutdown triggered is no SW switching.
    3. When thermal shutdown is triggered, the device shutdown completely until the temperature has dropped by around 15C.

    Hi Shotaro,

    Regarding the first question, a rough estimation of the thermal shutdown threshold will be min 145C and max 175C.
