TPS3702: Looking for a solution that can detect a Short between UART and 5V power.

HI team,

My customer is looking for detection IC that can send a reset signal at below condition. They want to detect a short situation between 5V power rail and UART data trace. 

I wonder if reset ICs can support this function. If yes, would you please recommend one?

    Hi Jay,

    Thank you for your question, for a short detection, you may use a TPS3760E012DYYR and detect the an over voltage on the UART data rail for instances if the UART rail shorts to 5V. The TPS3760 is our fastest device, with an 8us sense delay.
