LM27313: Question about controlling the current source by user.

Part Number: LM27313

Hello, Forum

Am I able to control the current value from the current source in the LM27313 ? If so, how?

I want to make it clear because there are some different constant values in the DATA Sheet, such as 5.5uA or 3uA as minimum.

I will be thankful, if I could get a clear answer.

Regards,

  • Hi Kyungmo,

Not sure whether I'm getting your point correctly.

During the device working the maximum input current from the power source will be controlled by the switching current limit, although not directly.

Could you point out where the 5.5uA or 3uA is in the datasheet?

    Regards

    Lei

  • Hi Zhong,

When you see the figure 23. of the DataSheet, there is a 'current source' which is making current like 5.5uA.

And, at 8.2.2.4, there is a sentence like "I_CL_ADJ is 3uA minimum".

    So, my question is...

Can I manage the current value coming from the current course? If so, how does a user change it manually?

If not, what can change the current value coming from the current source?

    Regards,

    Kyungmo

  • Hi Kyungmo,

Is the device you are checking LM27313 with literature# SNVS487E?

There is no figure 23 and part 8.2.2.4 in this datasheet.

  • Hi,

Oh, it was my mistake... I put the wrong component here. It should be LM3489Q, not LM27313.

Check it again, and change the component number, please.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Kyungmo

  • Hi Kyungmo,

LM3489Q is supported by other product line. For a quick response, I suggest to close this thread and then submit a new E2E thread with the right component number. The new thread will be automatically assigned to the right person based on the correct component number. Thank you.
