BQ27546-G1: Toggle SE pin with INTPOL

Hello,

I'm trying to cause the SE pin to toggle by changing INTPOL. I have INTSEL set to 0 for interrupt mode instead of shutdown mode, and SE_PU is high. POR was done to let the SE_PU change take effect.

But changing INTPOL seems to have no effect on the SE pin. Am I missing something else that needs to be set?

Changing SE_POL toggles the pin but not INTPOL.

Please reset the device after changing INTPOL. It's not clear if you reset the device every time you change INTPOL (POR was done to let the SE_PU change take effect).

Hi Dominik,

We tried cycling power after changing INTPOL, and the outpiut of SE is not changing.

I went through the code and can't say why you don't see a change with changing INTPOL.

The gauge will set/clear the pin following the interrupt status every gauging cycle. Are you by any change letting the gauge sleep? Then it may take until it periodically wakes up from sleep until INTPOL has an effect.
