Hi Team,

My Customer is going with both the attached solution for their proto development and based on the testing, they will finalize one solution for product development.

Can you please help review it and give your comments on the same? JYFI, For the BQ25708, it has been told by their smart battery provider that the pack has an inbuilt MCU in it and it will configure the BQ25708 with SMBus.

    Hello Jash,

    Solution 1 looks good. Keep in mind the BATFET is internal to the BQ25793 IC.

    For solution 2, the setup with the BQ25708 looks good. Do you know how the TPS25750 is going to negotiate with the USB-C adapter? I'm not familiar with the TPS25750.
