EV2400: BQ20z80 is not listed in supported target for BQEVSW for version 0.0.92

I am trying to use BQ20z80 for one of my project I am using EV2400 BQEVSW version0.0.92, but I can not found BQ20z80 in supported target devices. Can anyone from support team send me a link to download the drivers?

Hello Yash,

We recommend that you switch to a newer gauge like bq40z50 if you are starting a new design.

Thank you for the response,

I have found this driver named"bqEVSWSetup00.09.79_bq20z80v1.10" for BQEVSW for my Ev2400, I have installed it and checked, initial communication is OK, but then it showed me error and I am not able to program the BQ . error message shows that please contact TI for upgraded version. I cannot use the new bq as it is customer design.

Hi Shirish,

Here is the exact information about error message pop-up:

"Unrecognised device or bqEASy cannot find the.encr file for connected device. This file is needed to configure the dataflash".

So, based on the above message I need .encr file for bq20z80 to work.

Can you please help me to solve this issue?
