UCC27624: High side N-Channel MOSFET

Hi Team, seeking for some inputs.

The UCC27624 is not working on my application. I need to drive a high side N-Channel MOSFET along with a low side N-Channel MOSFET. My H-Bridge design consists of all N FETs, and the Vds that I’m trying to supply to my DC motor is 24V. I’m looking for a component that has a built-in charge pump circuit that can take my supply voltage and boost it by 8 – 10v in order to fully activate my FETs and minimize Rds. Unless I’m missing something, the UCC27624 does not have a charge pump.

    Hi Mark,

    We do not currently have a device like that on the gate driver product line. As long as you don't need 100% duty cycle, a half-bridge driver with its bootstrap circuit can accomplish this. Alternatively, you can make your own charge pump and use it with a half-bridge driver.

    I believe there are devices in our motor driver product line that do have an integrated charge pump. Would something like DRV8231 work? If not, I would direct the question to that team.
