LM25143: DC to DC Charger Solution

We use Adaptor to charge battery(built in BMS).

Adaptor Voltage is 32V or 36V,battery voltage is 25.2V. Charging Current is 7A max.

We want to use buck controller to connect Adaptor and Battery,through control FB to adjust current and voltage.

But thermal is a problem. Is this solution OK?

And please recommend other solutions to charge battery.

Hello YX

I think you don't need to use dual-phase controller to supply 7A. I think you can use single channel controller (for example LM(2)5141-Q1,LM5148-Q1) to handle 7A.

Does TI has GaN buck controller like ADI LTC7891.

We do not need 100v,42V above can meet our condition.
