BQ79616-Q1: ground pin connections of stacking AFEs with daisy chain

I want to stack BMS AFE with Daisy chain communication.

I want to understand the ground pin connection of top and bottom AFE.

If two Ground are isolated, what is reference for different GNDs. I am just confused with GND pin connection. Please help me out

The GND pins would be on separated GND planes so between the isolated planes you would ensure there is a PCB barrier. Then between these barriers you could place the 2.2nF capacitors that connect the daisy chain communications coupling.
