TPS16630-32EVM: How to calculate the Cout?what is the minimum capacitance of the Cout

Dear supplier ,

We use the tps16630 to protect lm5145 converter when battery plug in and out , but our PCB space is constrained . There is a 1000uF capacitor in the design  reference of TPS16630-32EVM, which is too big for our PCB. The input of lm5145 is 48V 5A, do we still need this huge capacitor ? can we reduce the capacitance? what capacitance is suitable? and how can we calculate this capacitance of Cout?
