Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS745
Hi TI expert,
We connect the TPS74501 EN pin to IOC IO without pull-up or pull-down, is it ok? If EN pin floating, what will happen? Thanks.

Hi Bruce,
Thank you for reaching out.
The TPS745-Q1 has an internal pull down when the EN signal is disabled. The EN can be connected to another signal when EN is required. If the EN is not needed, then tie this to VIN of the LDO.

Hi Edgar,
Thanks for your feedback.
As you say, TPS745 has an internal pull down. Refer to below screenshot, we don't need to add external pull down, right?
Best Regards
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
it is not needed, but there is no harm in placing one either. This is just design preference. Also, I noticed the capacitor installed on the EN. Our EN do not require a capacitor to be installed. We see RC to create an RC delay on the EN signal, but it is not required.
