TPS40200: Inductor Formula Clarification

Part Number: TPS40200

Hi Team,

Our customer has an existing design with TPS40200 and they intend to upgrade to its high temperature version TPS40200-HT. They reviewed the datasheets to see if there are any adjustments needed but it seems that there's a big contradiction on their Inductor selection criteria section.

TPS40200 shows a formula in calculating for the minimum inductance value to maintain continuous conduction, while the TPS40200-HT datasheet shows the same exact formula but for the maximum inductance value. Can you help us check and verify if this is a datasheet error?

I think it is preferred to use LMIN in both eq15 and eq14 because the inductance value is defined as the minimum inductance that can
be used in the converter to deliver the minimum current while maintaining continuous conduction
