TPS7A25: power loss and efficiency date

Hi,

Could you please help to provide TPS7A2501DRVR power loss/efficiency data base on below condition?

Simulation or calculation are both ok.

Vin: 18V
Vout(ADJ version): 18-VDO
Vout(FIX version): 5V
Iout: 300mA
VDO:340mV

    For power loss, I assume you mean power dissipation, correct? 

    If so, this is Pd=(Vin-Vout)*Iout. This will give you how much power is being dissipated by the LDO. 

    For the efficiency, this is Efficiency= (Iout/(Iout+Ignd) * Vout/Vin)* 100

    Vdo is the minimum difference between Vin-Vout so the LDO can regulate, the 340mV is for when the device is operating at full load (300mA) 

    However, it is recommended to operate with slightly higher Vdo, to help improve PSRR and transient performance.
